occasional blast of the powerful burners. The
excitement keeps building up…and you cannot wait for
this magical experience to begin…
Watch these magnificent balloons
being set up while enjoying a hot cup of coffee and
biscuit while having a view of a magnificent sunrise
over the Magalies Mountains.
It is take-off time and the balloon
basket gently lifts from the ground, higher and
higher...carried by the wind.
Hovering silently high above the
tree-tops with a breathtaking view of your
surrounds, the heaven above and the earth far
beneath…you experience exceptional peace and this
unique and almost supernatural view of the world
will forever remain as a truly cherished memory.
There, from the slowly
moving vantage of a hot air balloon you will
experience the “720 degree” wrap-around panorama of
the Magalies River Valley and nearby Hartbeespoort
Dam area which, incidentally, boasts some of the
best ballooning weather in the world.
After landing you will be
transferred back to the base in one of the luxury
mini-coaches to the newly built and beautifully
appointed Clubhouse, Pavilion and Restaurant. Here
you can relax while enjoying a delectable full
English breakfast.
You will be awarded a
“citation for bravery” for your hot air ballooning,
