	The Facts: You might think your hot air ballooning experience is all about the Price you pay. Think again. The old cliché "you get what you pay for" has proven true in the Hot Air Ballooning industry. Use only companies who operate legally for your PEACE OF MIND. They might be more expensive because they pay more for acceptably manufactured balloons, pay insurance premiums, pay licensed Aircraft Maintenance Organisations, keep proper records and operate within the parameters of an approved Operations Manual. Many ballooning companies may try to side-step the regulations and save you on price – but in the event of an accident, their excuses may not hold water (or air) in a court of law.

	booking terms summary:
	Except where specifically excluded, the above rates include 14% VAT. TOMSA Tourism Levy is included. If the hot air ballooning is cancelled by the passenger, pre-payment is forfeited. If the hot air balloon flight is cancelled by the operator for safety reasons, the flight is either re-booked OR all pre-payment is returned. Should any element of these packages be postponed or cancelled, this will not affect the commitment of any party in the agreement to the supplying and charging for, or receiving and paying for, the other elements of the package on the original dates unless otherwise agreed in writing. A minimum of 4 passengers is required to justify a flight departure, maximum is 140. (6 - 18 passengers per balloon.) The operator is a LEGALLY LICENCED AIR SERVICE (No. N146D) and employ HIGHLY QUALIFIED, PROFESSIONAL PILOTS and carry a PASSENGER LEGAL LIABILITY INSURANCE minimum of R1000 000 per person. Also a SATSA member since 1981, Magalies Meander Member, Crocodile Ramble Member, SADot LICENSED, BEE Compliant - 100% PRL and also a member of the Johannesburg Skal Club - The International Association of Tourism and Travel Professionals.
